Druskininkai. Among major successes is the Project realised by UAB Intergas resulting in the gasification of Druskininkai town. It took as little as six months for the Company to lay down the 25 km long, first ever private in Lithuania, gas pipeline from Belarus. Prior to that the households in Druskininkai were supplied with heat using solid fuel and crude oil. After the rail branch used of the delivery of crude oil was closed the town‘s situation became more than difficult, especially as the monopoly gas supplier had, for some economic, technical or political reasons, failed to lay down the pipelines so badly needed at the time.

UAB Intergas  investment into the project was about  8 million LTL, and late in 2002 a symbolic torch of gas flame was lit in Druskininkai. The current natural gas supply volume to Druskininkai is up to 17 m cubic metres per year.

Mažeikiai. The Mažeikiai gasification plan had been developed same years back already although not a single company ever took the lead to realise the plan. While well understanding that the economy fuel – natural gas – is the way to economic prosperity of the location UAB Intergas started laying down the gas pipelines to Mažeikiai. The Company has already invested into the Project about 36 million LTL, and when project completed, up to 50 m cubic metres of gas will be supplied to the town per year.
